Living with Mary. Mary was the roommate I needed when I needed her most. She was always there to listen and lift me up. She was easy to live with but best of all, she was fun to be around. A special thank you to Mary for adding so much light and so much fun to my time in Split!
The MOON! I can’t talk about my time in Split without talking about the moon. My time in Split was bookended by two incredible celestial events. Our first night there as Mary and I walked up the hill to find dinner we looked to the right across the water and saw a gigantic harvest moon. I didn’t get a picture, but a picture couldn’t do it justice. It was bigger than my eye could hold and the color of a ripe peach. Then on our last night in Split, we were gifted with a blood moon that I got to share with Danche. A harvest moon and a blood moon in one month. I told you my time in Split was magic people! And that magic was captured on our second to last night, at our farewell party with the way the moon hit the water...magic!
