Thanks for stopping by! Some of you may simply scan the titles, some of you may actually read something, or some may just look at the pictures. Do what you will, take from it what you like.

I am here to indulge my own desires, passions, and whims. I love to write. I don’t write enough. I’ve always wanted to start a blog. Fear has held me back in the past because I never felt that I had enough reason to begin. I also saw no reason why other people would want to read my writing, when the only person I ever write for is myself.

I have decided to start now so that I can chronicle my personal growth over the next year as I travel with Remote Year. I will travel with my Remote Year Ohana community to a different international city every month, while working remotely.

The fear is still here, but I am grateful that Remote Year is finally giving me the push to start.This year is going to be full of change, challenge, and the unknown. I need to lean into my fears to make the most of this experience.

So I’m starting here. I am going to be vulnerable. I am going to be authentic. My goal is to be the Brené Brown definition of courage: to tell the story of who I am with my whole heart (Brown, 2010).

I am doing this for myself. It's a total bonus if you happen to gain something while reading!
